      SERVING ALL EVENTS
      We can travel to almost anywhere in Melbourne, as long we have close by parking to move our equipment and can safely transport our equipment to the service area.

      Please notify us of any stairs, narrow spaces or corners in order to check if the coffee cart can be delivered to your service area.

      FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

      What is included in the coffee cart hire?

      Our coffee cart hire includes a barista and cart with a commercial coffee machine with delivery, setup & pack up.

      How long is the hire period?

      Standard hire is up to 3 hours, but we offer flexible packages with half- day and full-day hire.

      How many coffees can a cart serve per hour?

      40 to 50 coffees per hour, per barista. Please let us know if you need additional baristas for extra speedy service.

      Does the machine require power?

      Yes, the machine requires access to a 240V 10 Amp power outlet. We can advise on generator options if your venue doesn’t have power nearby.

      Can we hire the coffee cart by itself?

      Sorry but we offer a barista with all bookings as we have multiple bookings in a day and need the coffee cart to serve the next event.

      How much space is needed? 

      We recommend allowing a 3m x 2.5m floor space for the coffee cart.

      Can the machine be branded?

      Yes. We can customise the cart with your logo, event signage, or themed wraps perfect for corporate events and marketing activations

      Is coffee cart hire worth it for weddings?

      Yes of course. The coffee cart is especially popular for Winter and Autumn Weddings. We serve a lot of farm and vineyard venues during dessert and have done a bunch after wedding ceremonies. 

      Is the coffee cart suitable for corporate events?

      Yes, coffee carts are super popular at breakfast & lunch conferences and seminars. It is also popular for Annual General Meetings (AGM's), brand activations & product launches, corporate dinners and christmas parties. 

      What areas do you service?

      We service all of the Melbourne Metropolitan Area including Melbourne CBD, Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula and Geelong. Travel fees apply for locations 10km from Glen Waverley.

      When does the coffee cart arrive before the event?

      The coffee cart arrives roughly 1 hour prior to service time to setup and prep the machine.

      Can I book more than one cart?

      Yes you can. We have 1 more cart that also be booked if you need a lot of coffees served within a short timeframe. Eg. Morning tea break or lunch break.

      Do you require a deposit?

      Yes, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due the day before the event.

      How many days ahead must I book the coffee cart?

      Although we recommended to be notified as early as possible, we'll need a minimum of 10 days notice.

      Can I bundle coffee cart hire with other Shanahan Events services?
